  Majority of officers are generally not friendly and the chief doesn't file complaints. These guys speed around town and do what they want without accountability. If a citizen has concerns, they will likely be threatened or harassed. I would only call them as a last resort.

  Pretty much the worst of the worst. Ill take my chances with a super trooper or Paul Blart. Not professional. Speed. Try to make up excuses for why they are stopping you after they stopped you. I worked in Federal law enforcement for 4 years. Do yourself the favor and keep a small notebook in your car and if you are feeling harassed log EVERYTHING. Ask to physically see their identification as well because trust me some will give you a fake badge # to send you on your way if they can't find anything to actually write you a ticket for. If they do write you a ticket KEEP A COPY. If you complain to the chief record that. Trust me. They are just police officers they put their pants on one leg at a time, breathe the same air we do, and mostly likely graduated from a community college with a criminal justice associate degree like most of us lol. Contrary to popular belief they are not untouchable. It is not against the law to record them if you are stopped. If they tell you to turn it off you don't have to. If the police around here did their job I wouldn't need to give this advice out. Unfortunately they do not. You do not have to tell them where you are headed or why you are out late. You're an adult and you don't have a curfew. You're a taxpayer that pays their salary. If you feel like they are following you for no reason. Call state police tell them your being followed. And most importantly keep a record. It's honestly a bit ridiculous in this town. Young punk kids playing cops and robbers with no real crime and time to waste. Smh. No one should feel intimated or nervous or harrased by their local police department. Thats not what cops are here for. Well maybe these ones. Idk
